Kevin Klein Criminal defence lawyer

A practice entirely devoted to your defence

The practice

Me Klein focuses his practice on criminal and penal law. He represents people facing charges that may carry significant consequences for their freedom, their reputation, their employment, their driver's licence and their future.

His practice covers both common criminal charges and major files involving several accused, complex police investigations, drug trafficking, firearms, conspiracy allegations and voluminous electronic or documentary evidence.

His approach rests on listening, preparation and transparency. He takes the time to understand each situation, to analyse the evidence and to clearly explain to the client the various options available.

Every file is handled seriously, according to a strategy adapted to its particular facts. The goal is not to make unrealistic promises, but to provide rigorous, accessible and humane representation at every stage of the judicial process.

Background

Me Kevin Klein, criminal defence lawyer

He began his career at a criminal law firm, where he was quickly called upon to work on complex files. In his very first year of practice, he acted as second-chair counsel in a murder case — an experience that exposed him early to the demands specific to major criminal files.

Since then, Me Klein has represented accused persons in a wide range of files, from common offences to complex cases involving firearms, drug trafficking, multiple co-accused, search warrants and voluminous electronic evidence.

He acts at every stage of the judicial process, from arrest through to trial, including release proceedings, negotiations, management conferences and sentencing.

He favours a direct, humane and strategic approach. He takes the time to explain the issues in the file, the options available and the next steps, so that his clients can make informed decisions.
